BFS applies MMSx/IMSO/TE standards to impartial certification of persons and accreditation of providers (CABs). BFS implements ISO/IEC 17024 principles (impartiality, validity, surveillance).

About “ISO/IEC 17024” References
We describe BFS programs as aligned with ISO/IEC 17024 principles. Where external accreditation by a national body (e.g., a government-recognized accreditor) is achieved, we will publish the certificate and scope here.

Safeguarding member, candidate, and research data; clarifying licenses and use-of-mark.
Data & Privacy
We apply privacy-by-design and store data only as long as necessary. Access is role-based and audited. Candidate records are verifiable with consent.
Open Standards & Content
IMSO standards and records specify their license (e.g., CC BY, CC BY-SA, or similar). Submitters confirm rights and cite sources; misuse may lead to withdrawal.
Use-of-Mark & Brand
Certified persons and accredited providers may use relevant marks under our brand policy. Use must be truthful, non-misleading, and removed on expiry or revocation.

Independent routes to raise concerns, appeal decisions, and report misconduct—without fear of retaliation.
Complaints & Discipline
Any stakeholder may submit a complaint. We investigate, record outcomes, and publish sanctions where appropriate to protect the public.
Appeals (Certification)
Candidates may appeal exam or certification decisions. Appeals are heard by independent panels with no prior involvement in the case.
Whistleblower & Ethics
Confidential reporting is available for fraud, safety, or ethics concerns. Retaliation is prohibited and may lead to discipline or revocation.
