Welcome to the MMSx Authority Research Portal — an organized, transparent repository of applied biomechanics and clinically relevant movement science produced within the MMSx ecosystem. This portal exists to make our research discoverable, traceable, and professionally governed, while preserving scientific integrity and participant protection.
What this portal includes
1) Research Streams (Domain Mapping)
Research is organized into clinical and applied domains (e.g., Prosthetics & Orthotics, Footwear Biomechanics, Gait Asymmetry, Spine Load-Tolerance, Performance Biomechanics), so experts can quickly identify alignment.
2) Study Registry (Every study has a Study ID)
Each MMSx study is registered with a unique Study ID, design summary, sample information, methods snapshot, and status (Active → Preliminary → Preprint → Peer-Reviewed).
3) Open Abstract Library
A searchable library of structured abstracts and extended abstracts. When full datasets cannot be released publicly, we provide aggregated results, figures, and methods transparency.
4) Preprints & White Papers
Preprints and white papers are shared when available, clearly labeled as peer-reviewed or not yet peer-reviewed, depending on their publication status.
5) Governance & Ethics
Participant safety and scientific credibility come first. This portal includes our governance standards for IRB/ethics documentation, consent, anonymization, and responsible reporting.
